Millet is a nutrient rich, gluten free and easy-to-cook grain. Its mild flavour and light texture makes millet an excellent addition to any cook’s repertoire.

This is the method I use most when a recipe calls for cooked millet.
rinse 1 cup of millet
put rinsed millet in a pot
add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil
turn heat down to the lowest setting and cook for 20 minutes
remove pot from heat and let stand for 10 – 20 minutes.
